Always a trooper, Engel passed away Sunday, 29-SEP-08.  After a long struggle with failing health, Engel succumbed late afternoon.  She waited for her step-mom, Gloria Verdin, to return from her most recent hospital procedure, before passing.

She is preceded by her brother, Gunther, and survived by her big brother Bear.  After being notified of his sister’s passing, he had no comment.  Step-brother Mouse asked for privacy but did confirm that he would be willing to spend time at his Nana’s house if asked.

In lieu of flowers, they asked for dog biscuits and jerky treats be donated to them.
