My name is Domingo…

I’m in my early 40’s, married, and have three little girls. I was born here in Tucson, AZ and my entire family (sisters and my Mother) still lives here. To be totally honest, my wife and I actually live in Marana, but our postoffice is on the border so it lets us keep a Tucson address.

Among my favorite activities as a child growing up were computers, electronics, cars, and playing my alto sax. Yes, I was a band geek. The only thing I didn’t have were glasses, so I wasn’t a total geek.

From the 5th grade at University Heights Elementary School to Doolen Junior High School, through to Catalina High School and the University of Arizona I played in organized bands, and loved marching band. I met alot of friends in marching band, unfortunately most I have fallen out of touch with.

One friend I still drift in and out of touch with is my friend Rick, whom I met while at the University of Arizona. Even though we (ok, let’s be honest here, I/me) don’t keep in touch as often as we should we’ve stayed friends these past 23 years. He was the best man at my wedding and he and his folks (Margaret and Rocky) were so generous that they allowed us the use of their 5-wheel trailer during our honeymoon in the White Mountains / Mogollon rim. Rick and his parents are good people.

Aside from the University of Arizona, I graduated from the University of Phoenix. If it weren’t for my wife I wouldn’t have done that. She pushed me get that degree because she knew I wanted the Informations Systems. The flip side of this is that while I was getting my degree, my wife was getting her degree and we didn’t see each other for almost two and a half years outside of ‘Hello’ and ‘Goodbye’ as we passed each other. Good times.

I’m an old-fashioned Reagan conservative. I survived public education here in Tucson and am a fiscal and social conservative. I am registered as a Republican but at the moment I am extremely disenfranchised with the party. When I get time to populate that page, you’ll find info in the PoliticsMy Interests .
