So yeah, it’s that time of the year again. Every year we’re asked to throw some kind of list together that represents what we would like to have or think we’d like to have. I have a hard time putting this list together because of two reasons:
- I don’t really need anything (other than better health) and
- I don’t really think I’m deserving. Really.
So what do I do? I don’t know. I love my family and I don’t want anyone to think I’m not grateful or that I don’t want to participate in our family tradition. The only thing to do is seriously think about this and make a list.
- A new belt. Flat, no design, 1-1/2 inch wide. The one I have is a Levi’s Docker one that is too long now and is falling apart. 38″-42″. Ask me or Vicki if you need more details. Oh, needs to be black, of course.
- Some black/grey/white diabetic socks. I don’t remember the brand. We got some at Wal-Mart, Vicki was the one that found them. Cheaper than Medi-Ped and more comfortable.
- Test strips for my One Touch Ultra. I can get you the right part number.
- I absolutely love the HBO series, Band of Brothers. Awesome WWII series. I could watch it over and over (and I have, just ask Vicki). Doesn’t have to be new, just in good shape.
- Another HBO series, From the Earth to the Moon. Every time I watch it I’m reminded of sitting in front of the television with our Father watching the Apollo Moon landing. Again, does not need to be new.
- Someone to babysit so Vicki and I can go see a movie or something for our birfdays.
- A horn button. Once you get to the page, just scroll down. No, not the moose one, the R-Sport one.
- A shop creeper like this one from Harbor Freight:
- A subscription to Nuts and Volts (to go along with my Handyman)
- Some blades for my uber-fancy reciprocating saw I got last year…
- A ‘hobby knife’ set. Think X-Acto blades…
I think that’s enough.
